It’s time to look back at another classic Swansea City fixture as we show the full 90 minutes of an exciting Championship clash with Brentford at Griffin Park.
On a December afternoon where the weather brought four seasons in one day, the visitors had looked to be on their way to a straightforward three points after racing out of the blocks in west London.
But things are rarely that simple, and Graham Potter’s men ended up involved in a nerve-jangling, raucous finish.
The full 90 minutes will be posted on this website and our app just before 3pm, just click the play icon to watch, and will also be available on our official Facebook page HERE.
This game was pitched against the win at Reading from the same season in our Full Match vote, and our Twitter ballot ended up tied at 50 per cent.
So, we have taken the decision to show the Brentford game first as it came earlier in the 2018-19 season.
But that New Year’s Day victory at the Madejski Stadium will be shown this coming Wednesday evening, so supporters will not miss out on seeing that game.
We are also aware of supporters requesting screenings of older fixtures or games from our Europa League run.
Unfortunately, due to a combination of the terms of broadcast rights – and the current situation in which staff are working from home without access to their office environment – this is not currently possible.
At this time our range of full match footage is limited to the last four seasons, up to and including the suspended 2019-20 campaign.
Our range of highlights – which we have started to broadcast on Mondays and Fridays – stretches back considerably further and we have used this outlet to try and show older fixtures from the past decade for supporters requesting them.
We will continue to show Full Match re-runs on Saturdays and Wednesdays – in addition to the aforementioned highlights packages – and we hope you will continue to enjoy reliving some great Swansea City games.
Once the lockdown in Wales ends, we will endeavour to bring you more action from our archive library.
Thank you for your continued support.
